It's time to fill out your Texas Homestead Exemption Form!

A residence homestead exemption removes a portion of or the total amount of a property’s value from taxation for property tax purposes. Only a homeowner's principal residence qualifies if you owned and occupied the property on January 1st. You must file an application with your County Appraisal District generally, no later than April 30th.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us and I will also remind you again before April 30th.

You may receive something in the mail offering to submit the exemption for you for $50...there is no need, it is easy online.
